You might think that “flavored Gin” is a bit of an oxymoron, but I think it’s a wise move on the part of the distillery (Weldon Mills of Bourbon fame) to designate this product as such. It falls well outside of any sort of regular gin category, whether that be London Dry, New Western or the like, aromatically coming across as a complete cocktail all on its own. Both advertised elements come through brightly on the nose and have lively presence on the palate, but the pure Gin charm is complete as well. If you’re the type that squeezes your lime wheel into your G&T, give this a go. A Platinum Award winner at the 2023 Distillers Challenge International Spirits Competition. 94
