The nose is utterly captivating providing strong blue agave, slight sweetness, and oak aging. On the pallet the blue agave is noticeable, there’s a light spice and resin note that leads from the mid palate through to the finish. There is a lithe viscosity to this one that continually supports the agave from start to finish, giving a light spiciness, earthiness and pepperiness. It is also just simply refreshing. It is soft on the pallet, almost without any burn note, and wonderfully displays the inherent uniqueness of blue agave grown in the tequila region. Aged in American oak casks for half a year, this Reposado delivers on all fronts. A Platinum Award winner at the 2022 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
