With a nose that offers sweet blue agave and sweet roasted wood this Añejo is set apart from many other. You get the earthy notes of the blue agave, plus a slight sweetness not to mention the wood influence of char smoke and slight resin. Most Añejo typically lack any blue agave notes at all, but here the earthy blue agave is still noticeable and pronounced and the aging of it is more important than the wood statement. A light citrus and peppery note exists on the back palate the finish is long and smooth and the weight of this tequila dances on the tongue.
