Here’s a tasty vodka that thinks outside the box. It’s distilled from 100% Catawba grapes rather than the more common choices of grain, corn or potato, and as you might expect, it makes for an unusual profile. Many Vodka users value complete neutrality, preferring the other ingredients in a Vodka based cocktail to take the lead. You won’t find that here, but what you will find is a very tasty alternative. Aromatic notes of white flowers, melon and lychee entice, and the fruit essence translates nicely on the palate. It’s very clean, with evident grape viscosity, and the subtlety is quite attractive. It all makes for a complex sipper, or it will work very well in cocktails where a little added personality is desired.
