Man about town Earl Stevens has a thoroughbred collection of Tequilas in his stable, and this is definitely “on the pole” in the group. Pure Agave aromatics abound, with complementary notes of lemon, lime and salinity adding depth. I wouldn’t go to all the fuss of making this into a margarita – it’s got plenty to say on its own, and it’s quite like the cocktail all by itself if you don’t mind the lack of sweetness. Put me solidly in that spot – Just pour me an ounce and I’ll sip away the afternoon. Well… maybe two ounces. A Platinum Award winner at the 2023 San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge. 94
