Woodinville launched in 2010 out of Woodinville, Washington.
As a bourbon whiskey this is a great introduction to bourbon – it’s a fairly straightforward bourbon, solidly made and it hits the fundamentals having been aged just four years. It’s just slightly sweet (the mash bill is 72% corn, 22% rye and 6% malted barley) and offers brown sugar, caramel, toffee, light notes of resin and citrus zest, with soft caraway seed, cinnamon and clove. The bourbon pretty much fills the palate and finishes well. It doesn’t offer much in the way of layered flavors, but that’s ok with this type of bourbon, since it does what it does quite well. Priced well for an everyday bourbon, you can enjoy this straight or in cocktails. 92
