This Reposado is unusual in that it comes in at 45% ABV. It’s beautifully conceived despite that number, with white pepper, pure agave and notes of baked apple and vanilla on the nose. The palate delivers on that promise with a rustic vibe that takes on the wood notes with subtlety, finishing with pepper dancing with the vanilla. I’m more of a blanco guy myself, but I’d have no trouble enjoying this well-balanced offering neat or using it to round out a Paloma. Nice!
