If you don’t know the story of Uncle Nearest, you can do a little research into the fascinating story while you sip this fitting tribute to his legend. The nose is shows forward notes of linalool (think Juicyfruit gum) and spice with muted vanilla and wood tones. It all comes together on the palate, where the high proof vibe is present but not overheated and brings the spice character to life. It finishes clean and balanced, with lingering spice notes that keep on coming. A true delight! A Platinum Award winner at the 2021 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
