Dan Garrison relies on a sweet mash bill and new American white oak barrels for texture and flavor, and he’s on to something big because of it. This 2020 release comes from 100% food-grade #1 white corn and spent three years in barrel. The combination of caramel, oak spice and warming heat ride a rich mid-palate feel through a finish that leaves the flavor pushing forward with no cloying character – just purity. It’s easy to see why this batch was separated from the rest of the fold, and it’s a bargain when you consider its quality.
