Rich Cook has been writing about wine and spirits since 2008. He is active as a spirits judge and also as Director of wine and spirits competitions, including the San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge, Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition, and Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition, among other competitions.
Michael Cervin
Michael Cervin has authored 11 books on wine, spirits, and other topics. As a critic and journalist, his wine and spirits articles have appeared in Robb Report, Forbes, Wine & Spirits, Vivino, The Hollywood Reporter, Fine Wine & Liquor (China), Decanter (London), Wine Enthusiast, Liquors Magazine (Netherlands), SOMM Journal, Draft, The Tasting Panel, and many other publications. Since 2018, Cervin has served as Chief Spirits Judge at Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Derwayne Chesterman
Derwayne Chesterman has more than 20 years behind the bar as a mixologist and is active as a bartending educator in the San Diego area. His company, Liquid Syndicate, serves the special event bartending industry.
