Sevillian oranges, originally from Southeast Asia, are used to make essential oil, used in foods, drinks, and pharmaceuticals, and is prized for making British orange marmalade. Though this Rum leans towards a sweeter profile, it nonetheless fills that out with orange and toffee notes, dried figs, apricots, sugared almond and baking spice flavors along with a more Cognac-like nose. Aged for eight years (ocho) in the Caribbean, the end result is a rum that will work to elevate cocktails or as a sweet sipper that will satisfy ardent rum lovers. 95
