A standard simple cocktail, the Paloma has unclear origins (typical of many cocktails), but many experts believe it was created in Mexico City in the 1950s or earlier. The Paloma is comprised of Tequila, lime juice and grapefruit soda, and though uncomplicated, it is nonetheless very enjoyable. Cazadores does an admirable job using the three ingredients in appropriate harmony to craft a better than usual canned cocktail. And whereas one might wish for a stronger tequila note, each flavor is well defined if a little light. The soda presents just a hint of sweet and sour and the quality of the tequila is better than average. This is an RTD I can highly recommend. 92
