A soft nose that provides hints of wheat, sweetness and caramel notes leads into a very expressive whiskey that proudly uses wheat as the star of its mash bill. Here the grainy wheat fills the palate with soft notes and allows the wheat to shine through supported by crème brûlée, butterscotch, caramel, resin and light citrus. This offers a deft balance of wheat, spice and wood creating a lengthy finish and an unusual whiskey in a world of spirits dominated by corn. Like a solid rye, wheat should be obvious and Copper Sky delivers. Spirit of the Year and A Platinum Award winner at the 2022 Critics Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
