Reposado tequilas can often hide the true nature of agave, but not here. Spicy with soft caramel, light citrus and an earthy, woody note, this is neither hot nor harsh. The oily viscosity makes it smooth and the plush aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, maple, and minerality rounds out the experience. Blended so that you get a hit of oak first, the mid palate fills with agave, extending to the finish where the light oak and spice come back in. Aged using American white oak barrels allows for a mellow reposado, allowing the agave to shine through.
