Richer and less sweet than most coffee liqueurs on the market, the cold brewing of the coffee is really the success to this liqueur. Of course there are definite coffee/espresso notes with light caramel, dusty cocoa powder and just a hint of butterscotch, and it’s important to note that there are no artificial additives. This is a very well blended liqueur where the addition of the neutral wheat-based spirit (essentially vodka) doesn’t overwhelm the whole, and doesn’t burn in the least. I prefer it neat as it’s a stand out stand alone, but it’s also cocktail ready. You could even pour this over ice cream. To be sure the coffee element is more pronounced, but if you’re a true coffee lover, that’s exactly what you want. 93
