Michigan’s Round Barn Winery not only produces wine, but a host of other delights. Their Black Walnut Cream, made from white wine, cream and black walnuts took them three ears to get it right. There are definite elements of black walnut present in this, along with toffee and mocha and light black pepper spice on the finish. Though this is simple it is nonetheless a very enjoyable beverage and is a great change of pace from traditional Irish Creams. Elegant on its own, Round Barn has several cocktail recipes worth exploring specific to this Cream. 91
