One of the common perceptions about vodka is that it should be odorless and tasteless. That is categorically untrue. Good vodka, like any spirit, tastes like something. Vido offers a light sweetness, resin, a hint of mint and citrus and therefore it is not a benign vodka. But here’s the thing, whereas most vodka is made with grain, though you can use many other ingredients, this is made from grapes (Goose Ridge Vineyards in Washington state), which is not so common for a vodka. And whereas this is not overly complex, it is still a very pleasant vodka, overall. You can easily sip this on its own with an ice cube or mix into your cocktails. 91
